Van Leuven Appointed to Percepta North America Executive Post
Douglas G. Van Leuven has been named vice president, sales and marketing, for Percepta North America. The announcement was made by Ron Chmara, Percepta CEO, at the company’s international headquarters in Dearborn, Michigan.
“I’m pleased to announce that Doug Van Leuven will be joining us immediately and will be a key member of our Executive Leadership Team,” said Chmara. “Doug brings with him more than 20 years of valuable sales and marketing leadership experience in the business-to-business and business-to-consumer arenas. He will be instrumental in helping increase our growth with both our current automotive base and new, non-automotive clients.”
Van Leuven’s priority will be to aggressively expand Percepta’s competitive presence in North America. Most recently, Van Leuven was the vice president of U.S. sales and marketing for Paradatec, a German OCR capture and document recognition solutions company. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Washington State University.
Van Leuven will be based in Percepta’s corporate offices in Dearborn, where he will report directly to Chmara.
