New Blog on the block

Hi and welcome to Percepta’s new blog…well everybody is doing it seemingly, and I think we have something relevant to say! The idea of the blog is to provide a media where we can talk about what is going on in our business and just say it as we see it.

One of the great strengths of the blog phenomena is that you can reply and have your say – bringing to an end days of one dimensional diatribes. So go on and let me know what you think!

I have worked for Percepta since the business was created in 2000 and now enjoy leading the business in Europe and Asia Pacific. Percepta was created to help our automotive clients deliver better customer experience by simply making customer relationships easier and more satisfying. Primarily our role is to remove the frustration of not being able to get a straight answer when you want one and to remove the inane barrage of marketing and sales contacts and replace them with real and relevant communication with customers. Well, we all know communication is a two way process and this means you have to listen to customers, you have to consider their individual needs and, yes, treat people as people and not just process them like peas.

It’s great being part of a business where your business is to state the obvious and do what is sensible. Sadly the obvious and sensible is not easy to achieve because many companies silo their customer interface into pre and post sales, resulting in an uncoordinated customer experience and lost customer loyalty.

The good news is Percepta has been quite successful over the past 10 years and has helped clients to improve customer loyalty, streamline customer relationships and to genuinely create customer advocacy. We have also helped our clients to see the actual bottom line benefits of making customer experience their number one priority. People will, of course, only buy good products and services so fantastic customer care needs to be accompanied by excellent service and products. The Percepta team are passionate about getting involved with the whole business of their clients and work really hard to ensure Percepta’s contribution goes further than just contractual compliance!

I’m not sure if these ramblings whet your appetite and have you screaming “give me details and facts!” or just “show me more and I will judge for myself”. Whatever your stance hopefully you will read more blogs from me and the team. Tomorrow we will talk about recall of products and how to do it well. Hopefully, given Toyota’s current dilemma and difficulties, tomorrow’s blog will be at least topical.
